Constitutional law focuses on cases that involve interpreting, following or amending the Constitution in issue. Lawyers may practice privately or for law firms and strive to argue a case before the Courts . However most of the constitutional matters are normally heard and dealt with at the High Court .

The Supreme Court al has jurisdiction to deal with constitutional matters , Presidential election petitions, advisor matters on issue touching on the constitution and interpretation of the same ,as well as hearing appeals from the Court of Appeal only on constitutional matters and matter of great public importance .
